I can not say I'm sad to be done with blogs for the year, having one more assignment every month was a little bit overwhelming. However, blogging is not the worst thing in the world. In all honesty, I have thought about legitimately starting a blog that I would be consistent with. My only problem is figuring out what to write about. That's the beauty of blogs though. There are so many options of what I could write about, this project limited that and I believe that is why I did not enjoy it as much as I would have if it had been more free.
From looking at blogs that are not written by OHS students, I have seen that bloggers have lots of freedom. For example, Teen Feminist is always giving her opinion on politics and is able to do so since blogs are limitless. Another cool feature of blogs is the ability to connect with other people that I would not have met otherwise. With blogs you can discuss topics with people that have similar views and you don't even have to get up to do so.
Overall, blogging was a good experience to show what could be a possible hobby. Have you ever blogged? If so, what was your experience? What is your opinion on connecting and commenting through blogs? Do you like it? Why or why not?
