Everyone makes mistakes, there is no avoiding it. As humans we have a tendency to do so, so it is not a big deal. What matters is that a person either learns from it or makes the same mistake. There are so many benefits from using mistakes to learn, a lot are highlighted in this article from Huffington Post. Many of their benefits have to do with the fact that it helps someone really get to know who he or she is and who he or she wants to be. It also tells us that we shouldn't worry about making mistakes and I fully agree. Once somebody can get over that fear, he or she can finally take risks that might lead to something amazing and helpful happening. Unfortunately, there is always the fact that something could go wrong, but sometimes one has to breakout of his or her comfort zone. I think the possible rewards are worth the risk, do you?
Although Huffington Post did a good job on compiling the positives of mistakes, I think there is a really obvious one that they missed. It is simply that our mistakes show us that something didn't work out right and we should work to fix it and improve ourselves. It can be as simple as spilling milk and learning to focus more on coordination. By making mistakes, we can learn from the past and improve ourselves. Thus, I think we should embrace our mistakes because they made us who we are today. What do you think? Do you ever regret your mistakes?
